Welcome to Hirwaun House
Hirwaun n. (arch); Deriving from Welsh word for Long Meadow
Built around 1850, Hirwaun House has had a varied past; formerly a bank then a wool merchants, the house has now been sympathetically and tastefully refurbished to create a spacious family home from where you can enjoy the splendour of the West Wales coastline on your doorstep.
The cry of seagulls, the sea breeze and the chance to spot dolphins from the nearby cliffs serve as a constant reminder of Aberporth’s fishing heritage, indeed fresh lobster and catch can be purchased from the fishing boats landing daily on the beach below the property.
Refurbished with families in mind, Hirwaun House, is very spacious so those wanting time away from the kids are sure to find a quiet room amongst the 4 reception rooms and the children will enjoy the large enclosed rear garden and patio.
